What to expect from a Swedish massage?  

A Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But, the benefits of Swedish massage go beyond relaxation. It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility.

Does it have to be light pressure?

A lot of clients love relaxing and falling asleep to a light pressured Swedish massage. However, it doesn't have to be light pressure. For instance Swedish massage pressure can range from light to med/ firm pressure. You can even mix and match services if you like! 

What services go with Swedish Massage? 

A lot of clients like to have a relaxing experience, however they would still like some areas worked out as well. At Natural Forces Massage we make it our priority to customize your session to fit your needs. For example, lets say you would like deep tissue and trigger point work on your upper body but then a relaxing experience the rest of the way through. We can for sure accommodate. Sometimes you can even get lighter to medium trigger point work during the Swedish massage. This causes even more of a relaxed feeling. 

Anything else I can add to my Swedish Massage? 

Absolutely, you can add some sports massage techniques like light stretching, hot stone massage, and essential oils! They will leave you feeling amazing. 


Swedish massage gets a bad rap! 

The problem with a lot of massage therapy places out there is that they only give you the option of a Swedish or Deep tissue massage!  How does that make any sense? That's like asking someone if they want super hard pressure or super light. When in reality everything is customizable. 

Communication is Key!
